Q1: Can you assist me with my installation?
Yes, happy to. Once you have started your installation and have completed the self-install process as found within the CuraSene App, and you are experience a problem, please don’t hesitate to call our customer service center by phone every day between 8AM and 9PM Central Time at 1-888-723-9772 for assistance
However, if you feel overwhelmed and would like to have us walk you through an entire installation, we offer a Help Desk Installation Service. Just go to the CuraSene.com website shop and order the “Remote Help Desk Installation Support” item and once you have the order confirmation, give us a call.

Q2: What do I do if I get an error notice when I try to scan the QR code during the installation process?
In this case, please note down the text of the error notice (or take a screen shot) and contact our customer service center by phone any day between 8AM and 9PM Central Time at 1-888-723-9772 for assistance. Q3: What do I do if the CuraSene Gateway is not connecting to the Internet?
Note: the Gateway only connects to Internet through a cable. No Wi-Fi connection is possible.
Please go through the following steps to restore the connection:
1. Remove the power cable of the CuraSene Gateway from the power socket.
2. Remove the network cable that connects the modem/router and CuraSene Gateway to each other.
3. Reset the modem/router that is supplying the Internet service to your home. Often, there is a small button on the modem/router for this. Otherwise, you can unplug the modem/router from the power outlet for about 10 seconds, then plug it back in.
4. Wait until the lights on the modem/router are once again not blinking (shining constantly). This can take a while. If it does not work, please contact your Internet Service Provider (cable company, telephone company, etc.).
5. Plug the power cable of the CuraSene Gateway back into the power socket and reconnect the network cable between the modem/router and CuraSene Gateway.
Within a few minutes the green light on the CuraSene Gateway should shine constantly (not be blinking) again. Is this the case? If not, please contact our customer service center by phone every day between 8AM and 9PM Central Time at 1-888-723-9772 for assistance.
Did this resolve the issue? You can now test if the CuraSene sensors are working properly again. To do so, go to the settings at the top of your screen in the CuraSene App (Settings > Sensors > Test/Remove sensors).
Trigger a sensor by walking in front of it or opening the door. A small green indicator should appear next to the CuraSene sensor listed on your phone screen. Does it not appear? Then try again or please contact our customer service center by phone every day between 8AM and 9PM Central Time at 1-888-723-9772 for assistance Or, send us an email describing your problem and what you have done thus far to self-troubleshoot at support@CuraSene.com
Q4: How do I install the Bed Sensor?
Bring the bed sensor near the CuraSene Gateway. Then plug the power cable of the bed sensor into the nearest power outlet. On the CuraSene Gateway, push the button that is on top of it which should make the green light blink. Using a paper clip or needle, poke 3 times into the tiny hole that you find on the small white disc on the bed sensor. After a short while the sensor should blink red once. Within 30 seconds you should see the light on the bed sensor turn green indicating that it has been associated with the CuraSene Gateway.
Unplug the bed sensor and take it to the bedroom. Place the long thin strip between the mattress and the box spring placing the strip in the Approximate vicinity where the individual’s heart would be. Then connect the plug from the bed sensor into the power outlet. Within 30 seconds the light on the bed sensor will go from blinking red to solid green indicating that the bed sensor is ready for use.
HINT: If you try to set up the bed sensor where it is in the bedroom and the CuraSene Gateway is in another room, although it is possible that you will be able to successfully install the bed sensor, it is much easier if you initially set up the bed sensor near the CuraSene Gateway and then move the bed sensor to the bed in order to complete the installation.

Q5: What do I do if I can’t find a suitable spot for a sensor?

Q6: Will it be difficult for me to do the installation myself?
Have you ever installed something like an internet modem before and are you able to place a painting on the wall? If you answered yes, you will be able to install a CuraSene system.
