Q1: How do I add an extra sensor to an already installed system?

Before you contact us though, make sure you have the old sensor and confirm which room that sensor was assigned to, or select from the list below which sensor and room you wish to add.
a) Wall Sensors (Motion) – each specific to: living room, hall, toilets, hobby room
b) Door or Kitchen Sensor (Contact)- Front door, back door, refrigerator, pantry, medicine cabinet

Q2: How do I add an extra Wall Sensor (Motion) to an already installed system?
Once you receive the Wall Sensor (Motion) and remove it from its packaging, you will need to hold the top and back of the Wall Sensor (Motion) with both hands and separate the two parts and insert the batteries.
You also see a small button besides the battery space. First press the button on the CuraSene Gateway, connected to the Internet modem/router) once, then press the small button on the sensor. As soon as there are no blinking lights on the CuraSene Gateway, the sensor is connected. You can watch the installation video for more information about the best placement of CuraSene sensors.
Q3: How do I add an extra Kitchen/Refrigerator (Contact/Access/Activity) sensor to an already installed system?
Each CuraSene sensor consists of two parts. First, pull out the label from the sensor so that the battery is activated.
On the front end of the large part of the sensor you will see a tiny hole. First press the button on the CuraSene Gateway once, then use a paper clip to poke one time into the hole on the sensor. As soon as there are no blinking lights on the CuraSene Gateway, the sensor is connected. You can watch the installation video for more information about the best placement of sensors
Q4: How do I add Bed Sensor to an already installed system?
Bring the bed sensor near the CuraSene Gateway. Then plug the power cable of the bed sensor into the nearest power outlet. On the CuraSene Gateway, push the button that is on top of it which should make the green light blink. Using a paper clip or needle, poke 3 times into the tiny hole that you find on the small white disc on the bed sensor. After a short while the sensor should blink red once. Within 30 seconds you should see the light on the bed sensor turn green indicating that it has been associated with the CuraSene Gateway.
Unplug the bed sensor and take it to the bedroom. Place the long thin strip between the mattress and the box spring placing the strip in the Approximate vicinity where the individual’s heart would be. Then connect the plug from the bed sensor into the power outlet. Within 30 seconds the light on the bed sensor will go from blinking red to solid green indicating that the bed sensor is ready for use.
HINT: If you try to set up the bed sensor where it is in the bedroom and the CuraSene Gateway is in another room, although it is possible that you will be able to successfully install the bed sensor, it is much easier if you initially set up the bed sensor near the CuraSene Gateway and then move the bed sensor to the bed in order to complete the installation.

Q5: How do I disconnect a sensor from the system?
If an extra installed sensor turns out never to register any data, you might consider deactivating the sensor or even remove it from the system. In the last case, please contact our customer service, we will help you out with it. Q6: How do I add/remove another CuraSene App user?
The main user of the CuraSene App is the person who scanned the QR code to activate the system when it was installed.
Due to privacy considerations, this QR code can only be scanned once. The main user can invite others to start using the CuraSene App and also remove users. This can be done in two ways:
Via the CuraSene App (go to Settings > Invite user or Remove user)
The invited person will then receive an email with a link to create their own password. When succeeded, the user can now log in to the App with their own account.
A person that is removed will know they are removed as they will not be able to access the CuraSene App since you have removed them from within the Settings > Remove User process
Q7: I want to inform CuraSene about a change in my subscription or customer data

If you wish to end your subscription, please visit www.curasene.com/cancellationform and submit your request. Please note that any subscription paid will not be refunded and that the CuraSene will expire at the end of your then current subscription period.
Q8: What is the term of notice for CuraSene?
As soon as you complete the online cancellation form which can be found by clicking here - www.curasene.com/cancellationform, we will process the cancellation of your subscription. Please note that any subscription paid will not be refunded and that the CuraSene will expire at the end of your then current subscription period. For example, if your CuraSene subscription runs from the 10th of June to the 9th of July, and you cancel on the 30th of June, your CuraSene subscription will expire on the 9th of July and no refunds will be provided.
